There were visible signs that displayed the fair taxi prices. But there are vultures still looking for travelers ready to pay a premium.

Be sure to shop around looking at many different shops and asking for prices. You can typically get a decent hooka (shisha) pipe for 100 Egyptian pounds or $20 US dollars. Don't think you are getting a deal until you've asked three different vendors. Every store basically sold the same items.

Don't drink tea from an unknown source. We were offered tea many times but kindly rejected. But they are very persistent.

I have a US Immigration Travel Document. I had some trouble getting into the country. After 1 hour I was cleared.

Be in control of the purchase. They will pull every trick in the book to try to get you to come in. People will come up to you and start talking and try to get you into the shops. It's very annoying after a day. Just ignore them and keep walking.

You can pay less than $20 a month and you can download all you want and the downloads are fast. Videos, movies, mp3s, and software you name it people post everything.

Stay away from cracks and anything *.exe they contain viruses. There are plenty of serials out there. Used with www.download.com you can have any software title for free.

It's easy download the software and join channels to search for FTP sites, and direct file downloads with IR commands. It's not hard to learn.

This is a great popular bar at night, but a poor place for lunch. I've never had a great meal. I do give them credit for offering free Wi Fi. That really the only reason I go for lunch.

The quality of food is sub-par. I've been there about 5 times. The last time was probably a year ago. I almost went back the other day but decided to eat at Blue Mesa Grill instead.

If you are hungry this is the right place. Champps gives you realy big portions of food. Its a little pricier than your average restaurant but they consitently deliver quality.
